The Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) located in Bhubaneswar has been brought under the fold of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India in August 2002. The institute was earlier under the administrative and financial control of Department of Science and Technology, Government of Orissa. Prime minister of India dedicated the institute to the nation on July 15, 2003 with a declaration to develop as a “National Centre for Excellence”.
Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from candidates possessing the following qualifications and experiences to work as:
No. of Vacancies : 01 Post
Emoluments : Rs 16,000/- p.m (fixed) without HRA
Qualifications: B.Sc. with first class in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Life Sciences with at least 02 years laboratory experience OR Post graduate degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry Life Sciences or relevant subject.
Desirable : Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in Research Laboratory /Research Institute and Knowledge about proteins / Mass spectrometry/ Viral biology or working with patients samples.
Upper Age Limit: 28 Years.
