Allahabad Bank (Hindi: इलाहाबाद बैंक), The Oldest Joint Stock Bank of the Country, Allahabad Bank was founded on April 24, 1865 by a group of Europeans at Allahabad. At that juncture Organized Industry, Trade and Banking started taking shape in India, now has its head-quarters in Kolkata. Currently the bank has 2402 branches across the country. Allahabad Bank invites applications from Indian citizens who have taken the pre-requisite Common Written Examination (CWE) for Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Mumbai in 2011-12 and have a valid Score card issued by IBPS :
Probationary Officer (JMG Scale – I)
Number of vacancies : 1600 Post(SC-240, ST-128, OBC-432, GEN-800)
Pay Scale : Rs.14,500/- to Rs.25,700/-
Qualification : (A) Graduate in any discipline from a recongnised University/ Institution. AND (B) Working knowledge in Computer Operation with Certificate /Diploma / Degree in Computer operations/Language OR Studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ Colleges/Institutes
Age Limit : 20-30 yrs
