The National Meat and Poultry Processing Board (NMPPB) is an autonomous body and would initially be funded by the Government of India for two years and would be managed by the industry itself. The Board will have 19 Members including CEO of the Board & the Chairman is from the industry. The Board would serve as a single window service provider for producers/manufacturers and exporters of meat and meat products, for promoting & regulating the meat industry as a whole and it would result in large number of employment opportunities. It would also help the rural farmers for increasing their income.

National Meat and Poultry Processing Board invites applications for the following posts:

Manager (QC)
Number of Positions: 01 (One)
Pay Scale: Rs.35,000/- p.m.
Educational Qualification: 1. Post Graduation in relevant discipline (MVsc../M.Sc., Analytical Chemistry/M. Sc., Biochemistry/M.Sc in Food Technology) 2. At least 10 years experience in a food testing laboratory
Desirable: 1. PhD in relevant discipline 2. Knowledge of latest food testing instruments/software. 3. Candidates with working experience in NABL Accreditated laboratory are preferred.
Job Duties: For Chemical and Microbial analysis of food samples. For handling of Instruments used in meat and poultry as well as other food testing as HPLC, GC-MS, ICP-OES. Texture analyzer, Spectrophotometer, Lypholizer, Microwave digester etc For testing of meat, poultry and other food products, related to Physico-chemical analysis, Heavy metal analysis, Pesticide residue analysis and Microbial Studies and other specific tests of food samples. Administration of the Laboratory.
Age Limit: 40 years

Lab Assistant
Number of Positions: 01 (One)
Pay Scale: Rs.15,000/- p.m.
Educational Qualification: 1. Graduation in relevant discipline (Chemistry / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Food Technology) 2. At least 3 years experience in food testing laboratory.
Desirable: 1. Post Graduation in relevant discipline with Experience of food quality testing 2. Preference will be given to the candidate having experience of handling of instrument used in meat and poultry testing as HPLC, GC-MS, ICP-OES. Texture analyzer, Spectrophotometer, Lypholizer, Microwave digester etc and experience of microbial load analysis
Job Duties: For Chemical and Microbial analysis of food & meat samples
Age Limit: 35 years
