Punjabi University, established on the 30 April 1962, located at Patiala, is one of the premier institutions of higher education in Punjab, India. Punjabi University teaches and researches in science, engineering and technology, humanities, social sciences, performing arts and sports. It is only the second University in the world to be named after a language, after Hebrew University of Israel. Originally the university was conceived as a unitary multi-faculty teaching and research university, and primarily meant for the development and enrichment of Punjabi language and culture, but alive to the social and educational requirements of the state.

JRF (Mechanical Engineering)
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post
Stipend : Rs 16000 (fixed)
Qualification : Qualification for JRF is M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Graduate Degree in Professional Courses with GATE or equivalent qualification
Project Title : Development of Corrosion Resistant HVOF Sprayed Cr3C2–NiCr Coatings for Boiler Tube Steels Operating at Elevated Temperatures
