The Central University of Karnataka (CUK) has been established by an Act of the Parliament (No. 3 of 2009) at Gulbarga, Karnataka. It is one of the 16 new Central Universities established by the Government of India during the UGC XI Plan Period to address to the concerns of ‘equity and access’ and to increase the access to quality higher education by people in less educationally developed districts which have a Graduate Enrolment Ratio of less than the national average of 11%.

Applications are invited for the post of project fellows in a DST Sponsored Project Decision Support System for Flood Risk Assessment of Upper Krishna Basin Using Remote Sensing and GIS. The fellowship is for THREE years and purely temporary and coterminous with the project. Preference will be given to the candidates having NET Qualification

Project Fellow
No. of Vacancies : 02 Posts
Fellowship : Rs 16,000+HRA for First TWO Years and Rs 18,000+HRA during the THIRD year
Qualifications : M.Sc/ M.Tech in Geology, Applied Geology, Earth Science, Geoinformatics or any other allied subject
Desirable : Knowledge about Remote Sensing and GIS
