The Shipping Corporation of India (SCI)
The Shipping Corporation of India was established on 2nd October 1961 by the amalgamation of Eastern Shipping Corporation and Western Shipping Corporation. Starting out as a marginal Liner shipping company with just 19 vessels, the SCI today has metamorphosed into a giant conglomerate owning 76 ships of 5.1 million DWT with substantial interests in almost all segments of the shipping trade. In addition, SCI mans / manages 60 vessels of 0.2 million tonnes DWT.
Applications are invited from Unmarried Male and Female for the position of:
Trainee Engineering Cadet
Pay Scale : Rs. 25000/- per month
Qualifications : Four year degree(Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from Directorate General of Shipping (DG ),and AICTE Approved Engineering college
Age limit : Age not exceeding 28 years as on 01/04/2012. Age relaxation for SC /ST/OBC/PH candidates will be given as per Govt.
