The Staff Selection Commission (SSC)
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training and comprises of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations who are appointed on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the Central Government from time to time. The Commission is provided such supporting staff as considered necessary by the Central Government.

Junior Chemist
Number of Positions: 02 (Two)
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800/
Qualification: Master’s degree in Chemistry or Dairy Chemistry or Oil Technology or Food Technology of a recognized University or equivalent OR B.Sc. degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects or B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent and with 2 years experience in analytical work.
Age Limit: 30 Years.
Application Fee: Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only). No fee for SCs, STs, Female candidates, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen.

Candidates may use a photocopy of the form published in the Employment News 21-27 Januaray 2012. The applications should be addressed to the Deputy Regional Director (NWR), Staff Selection Commission, Block No. 3, Kendriya Sadan, Sector-9 Chandigarh-160017. The envelope containing the application must be super scribed in bold letters as Application for the post of Junior Chemist, Advertised Vide Category _NWR_1_of Advt No.NWR-2/2012. Fees should be paid only by way of CRFS. Closing date for the receipt of application is 20.02.2012.
