The Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) is a premier Indian organisation in zoological research and studies. It was established on 1 July 1916 to promote the survey, exploration and research of the fauna in the region. The activities of the ZSI are coordinated by the Conservation and Survey Division in the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India.
Applications are invited for the following posts under the ICAR network project entitled “Cataloguing thrips (Thysanoptera: Insecta) species on Horticultural Crops from India” under Outreach programme on Management of Sucking Pest in Horticultural crops (ORP-SP)

Remuneration : Rs.15,000/- per month (consolidated).
Qualifications : M.Sc. Zoology/Life Sciences with at least 55% marks.
Duration: Initially up to 31st march 2016, may be extended for further period(s) based on satisfactory performance of individual and funding received.
